About Me

When I was little, I liked to draw pictures with words. When I grew up I discovered that I could put pictures with words and call it a career as a designer. Recently, I’ve fallen in love with being behind the lens and helping brides, grooms, couples and families form their own words when they see themselves in pictures.

I am inspired most by three little beauties that were given to me by my Creator, and I like to spend time with my high school sweetheart who gets to live his own dream, driving around our town in a big red fire truck.

    Dirk — Katalyst portfolio shots

Last month I was super excited to receive a call from Katalyst Talent Agency asking if I would like to be on their list of preferred photographers on their website. This means that any new talent (or existing talent looking fror new selections) can arrive at the Katalyst website and be directed to my work and determine if they'd like to inquire with me about photography.

Dirk was one of the first people to contact me to get his images done and to start being represented on the Katalyst website. We had fun shooting at Gorman Farms in Evendale, a fitness studio in Lebanon and the Riverwalk area of Covington, Kentucky to get many different looks and styles for Dirk’s modeling portfolio. It was fun to meet someone new, and photograph a demographic I normally don't photograph.

Here is a sample of some of my favorite images from the shoot ... I hope you see him in an ad or commercial very soon!
