About Me

When I was little, I liked to draw pictures with words. When I grew up I discovered that I could put pictures with words and call it a career as a designer. Recently, I’ve fallen in love with being behind the lens and helping brides, grooms, couples and families form their own words when they see themselves in pictures.

I am inspired most by three little beauties that were given to me by my Creator, and I like to spend time with my high school sweetheart who gets to live his own dream, driving around our town in a big red fire truck.

    Refreshing

I’ve recently tried to explain this to my storm-fearing 9 year old daughter: but I found this quote a perfect match for an image I captured last week out shooting with beautiful Rowan. More of Rowan on the blog soon but I fell in love with this image after a morning session (and quick rainstorm) we had with her baby brother: I love playing with reflections in my imagery, as you might tell.

Summer is delicious. Rain is refreshing, wind braces up, snow is exhilarating; there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.
