Returning from a trip South

Normally, most of my trips “south” consist of nothing further south than Nashville, with maybe an occasional Atlanta or Florida. But two weeks ago I had the trip of a lifetime to my first out-of-the-US destination wedding of a best friend; where I got to photograph both the wedding and then some amazing landscapes in the days that followed in the beautiful central American country of Costa Rica.

Photographs of the wedding will be posted in the days to come, but today on my Facebook page I shared these amazing landscapes. Costa Rica is a lush, green country filled with mountainous scapes and beaches on the east and west side (Carribean on the east, Pacific on the west.) During our trip we visited the gorgeous Manuel Antonio region of the Pacific, and then spent two days near San José during great touristy things like visiting the Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfalls.
